Therapeautic Modalities

Evidence-based and integrative approaches that support healing across mind, body, and relationship.

EMDR

Our EMDR therapists are experienced, trained and certified through EMDRIA and are committed to helping you heal and grow.

If you’re noticing that your past experiences are holding you back, affecting your daily life, and leaving you feeling disconnected or overwhelmed, EMDR therapy could be the key to finding the relief and healing you need.

Somatic Therapy

Our trauma therapists specialize in polyvagal-informed somatic therapy, helping you heal trauma by restoring safety and connection in your body.

If you feel constantly on edge, physically drained, or disconnected from your body due to the lingering effects of grief and trauma, polyvagal-informed somatic therapy may offer the healing path you’ve been seeking. This approach helps regulate your nervous system, restore a sense of safety, and rebuild connection with yourself.

Parts Work

Our Parts Work therapy integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Ego State Therapy to help you understand, heal, and harmonize the inner conflicts keeping you stuck.

If the effects of trauma have left you feeling stuck in inner conflict, emotionally overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, Parts Work therapy can help you find clarity, healing, and relief.

Play Therapy

Our child-centered play therapy uses developmentally informed, attachment-based approaches to help children express emotions, process experiences, and feel safe through the natural language of play.

If your child is struggling with big emotions, behaviour changes, or experiences they cannot yet put into words, play therapy offers a gentle and effective way for them to explore their inner world, build regulation, and strengthen connection.

Expressive Arts

In our heart-healing workshops and retreats, you are encouraged to let go of the need to prove yourself, to let go of the need to be perfect. You’re worth and dignity are inherent. We invite you to trust the process. To be curious about what your inner soul/child/world needs and wants to say. You are invited to practice acceptance without judgment of your inner needs and wants.

We have developed our soul-care workshops and retreats that encompass the therapeutic use of expressive arts, mindful movements, relaxation, and lots of fun!

Bibliotherapy

Our bibliotherapy approach uses fiction, nonfiction, and poetry as a therapeutic tool to support emotional insight, healing, and personal growth, often as an adjunct to trauma-informed therapy.

If you find it difficult to put your experiences into words or feel drawn to stories as a way of understanding yourself, bibliotherapy can offer a gentle, reflective path toward processing grief, trauma, and complex emotions at your own pace.

Trauma-Informed Weight Lifting

Our Trauma-Informed Weight Lifting (TIWL) approach uses slow, intentional, resistance-based movement to support nervous system regulation, body reconnection, and trauma healing in a safe and compassionate way.

If you feel disconnected from your body, overwhelmed by physical sensations, or sense that talk therapy alone isn’t enough, TIWL offers a gentle, online, body-based path to rebuild trust, strength, and a sense of safety—at your own pace and from the comfort of home.
